Art Heals

Narrative art tells a story.

The main aim of Narrative Arts Therapy is to help you gain a deeper understanding of the story you carry about yourself. The programme teaches you how to re-construct a stronger, beneficial and self-compassionate self narrative, based on your values, strengths, skills and dreams.

This therapeutic approach is rooted in philosophy, science and traditional artistic technologies, including storytelling, writing, reading, drawing, painting, clay or textile.

One On One Sessions

A 90-minute in-person session provides a holistic healing experience with narrative arts therapy. It includes the course guide book for continued self-guided healing, and audiovisual resources for further exploration of narrative arts therapy.

Online Sessions

Online therapy is increasingly popular due to its privacy, autonomy, and the ability to choose a preferred environment. Teenagers find it effective and less stigmatizing, as they can do therapy in their own room. It is more affordable.

Courses

An introductory session followed by six sessions includes the course workbook, The Story of You, with audio-visual resource references. The course is beneficial for women and teens facing life challenges, including grief, trauma, anxiety, loss, menopause, or chronic illness.

Podcast

Dr Winberg discusses the history of healing through the arts, focusing on loss, grief, life transitions, and recovery. The podcast includes adapted stories of her students and clients, along with book reviews on neuro aesthetics and the science of art.
